On Thursday Dec 12 I around 6:45pm I was pulling back into my driveway with my wife and 2 boys, after their karate class. So anyways, we live in an affluent suburb in Northern VA (outside the DC beltway). And for reference theres a military golf course literally in our backyard thats frequented by retired and serving generals, etc.

Were getting out of the car and my wife goes " what the hell is *that*?!" In an astonished voice. And btw, to reinforce shes a skeptic that would put Mick West to shame. Then I hear my boys exclaiming "woahh thats so cool!!!". I look up and see a ... drone with multicolors moving silently and fast, lower then any plane, and definitely NOT a plane. Then another. Then a 3rd. So my wife looks at me in surprise and I get my phone out (she already did as well) and we start recording. Then 1 by 1 I counted atleast 8. She gets the kids in and im still recording, when the last one cruises by directly over our house. The last one was noticeably larger.

Now, maybe these were planes I didn't recognize or something. Im not an aviation expert, but it was eerie. I got a ton of footage. Im attaching 1 video (I had to remove the audio because if had my kids saying identifiable information). If this was one of those, I can post longer clips.
