Description

Hey guys we're currently sailing around the bend of Cape Breton, this sighting was at 630pm. We're sailing a large ferry vessel from drydock when I get a call to the bridge.

I notice an almost blinding light in the sky, like a flashlight and it's 5x brighter than any of the nearby stars, in person I could see the sky full of stars but smartphone cameras are crap so here we are.

The light is still there but has disappeared behind some clouds, we all grabbed binoculars and noticed tonnes of movement in and around the clouds, not gunna lie it kind of reminded me of swimming sperm, just with out the tail, and glowing orbs. They were very far so I couldn't get it with my phone but easily seeable on marine grade binocs, 20x I think

Then at the same time I think we witnessed a starlink launch... I think... I'm not sure, it was crazy, it looked like 2 lines of perfectly spaced stars, one line had 4 stars and the second has 7 or 8... And they all disappeared and flickered off at the same time... My coworker freaked out and said he saw green and red flashes, but I didn't see them.

Anyways... Cloud cover is pretty bad now but I'll report back with any other sightings.
