So this happened last night up north and I've been following it since the alert went off.

Saturday Oct 10, 19:57, alert sounds in Arab al-Aramshe (Western Galilee, basically right on the Lebanese border). Forces get called out, searches start. Then nothing for hours.

At 23:42 the IDF spokesperson puts out an update. Observation teams picked up an unidentified aerial object near the border, forces still searching. No unusual findings, no instructions for civilians. That's it.

This morning Almog Boker, a verified Israeli journalist, posted the image attached here and tied it to the incident. Two frames of a pale roundish object with a dark band across the middle, plus part of a third frame cut off at the bottom. And according to him the IDF \*still\* doesn't know if it even entered Israeli airspace.

Which is kind of wild to me? This is one of the most watched borders on the planet. They saw it, they scrambled people, and 12+ hours later nobody can say what it was or which side of the line it was on.

Could be a balloon, could be some drone thing, could be nothing. I'm not claiming anything. Just weird that it's still open.
