Description

A quick analysis;

1. I find it strange that the object in question isn't centered, but actually above the picture. This makes me question if the photographer was actually attempting to picture something else entirely and realized the strange light only afterward.
2. The image is overexposed, meaning that if the camera is from a mobile and taken from an open window, it should have been balanced better. Currently, its colors are very washed out. The most probable explanation for this, is that there's a glass window in front of the camera.
3. You can see other light sources in the picture, just above the main "light" from the UFO. Here's a quick color correction in Photoshop; I've only made a quick curve balance to increase blacks: https://imgur.com/NNTwB2g
4. It appears that the main focus is indeed a camera's flash, and right above it there are a few other light sources that meet at a right angle, possibly from overhead lightning on crown moldings that are very common in Brazil.

My personal conclusion:
This picture appears to be from a mobile flash taken from within an apartment, looking at the dense Atlantic jungle but through a window.
