Description
On the evening of September 24th, operations at Yichang Sanxia International Airport in Hubei Province were disrupted by a drone, leading to multiple flight delays and diversions. According to reports, flights scheduled after 10 p.m. were affected, with some boarding as late as 2 a.m. on September 25th. The disruption raised concerns among netizens, especially following a similar drone incident on September 11th at Tianjin Binhai International Airport. Many questioned how a drone could fly in such heavily controlled airspace, given the strict no-fly zones around airports, and even near the nearby Three Gorges Dam, one of the most secure areas in China.
