My husband and I were watching the Northern lights and a meteor shower on a beach in Cape Cod last night. The Northern Lights were very faint so a took a few photos with long exposure turned on. The second I began to take my last photo, I saw something moving above my husband’s head. I saw it with the camera and my naked eye.

The long exposure took 10 seconds, and then I tried to snap a quick video. It is much darker without the long exposure setting on. Right after I began filming the clip, you can see it darting off to the right (note that the brighter light in the video is the light of a boat off the beach).

With the video alone, it looks like a bug. But I was shocked when I looked back at the photo! It looks like a clip art version of a flying saucer.
