A reader wrote to us, who on May 25, 2024, was recording an approaching storm under Krakow (Poland) using his DJI Mini 2SE drone. In his footage, he noticed an unusual object moving rapidly across the camera's field of view.

From the interview and data gathered using artificial intelligence, we estimated that the object was moving at a speed of 100 meters per second.

We are attaching our analysis video. The first frame shows the original speed, which we have labeled at the bottom of the recording (original speed). In the subsequent frames, we slow down and zoom in on the object. It seems that the object was noticed because it was flying against a backdrop of forests, which created a dark background that highlighted the bright, swiftly moving form.
