Residents reporting the presence of UFOs in the city in 1971.

.

A document from the Ministry of Aeronautics shows that Varginha (MG), known as "Land of ET", may have been visited by beings from another planet long before the famous case of 1996. According to the document, there is a record of residents who said they had seen an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) in the city in 1971. For 46 years, the document was kept confidential in government archives and was only released last week by the National Archives.

According to the document, the UFO appeared during the night, around 7 pm. The correct day of friendship is not given. The object would be oval and silver. At the time, farmers and traders confirmed that they saw the object to authorities.

According to the document, the UFO was seen in Vila Mendes and Rua Rio de Janeiro, where it stopped for a few moments. Afterwards, he was seen at Clube Campestre. The document also reports that the UFO even flew over the EsSA Weapons Sergeants School, in Três Corações (MG). According to reports, the object came to rest near the roof of a house. The noise was so loud that one resident would have lost consciousness.

The most famous report of supposed apparitions occurred in 1996, when Varginha became known worldwide for the supposed appearance of beings from another planet. Two sisters and a friend said they saw a non-human creature. (Remember the ET case of Varginha)

The document only confirmed the story that the city's residents had always believed. "I was able to observe that the side of Rio de Janeiro Street raised an object that caused great disruption, burning radios, causing damage to cars, burning transformers and h

I see a power outage in those areas," said retiree Geraldo Bichara.

Mr Arcelino Barbosa was 10 years old at the time and says he noticed something strange in the sky. "I actually saw something luminous and it caught the attention of the children who were playing next to me," said attendant Arcelino Barbosa Filho.

For ufologists, the release of the document further reinforces the certainty of the existence of life on other planets.

"These sightings occur all over Brazil at all times, all over the world at all times, Minas Gerais, the interior of Minas Gerais has a rich characteristic of ufological characteristics", said ufologist Thiago Luiz Ticchetti.
