Description

This animation reconstructs the sequence of events surrounding the 2004 Nimitz Incident using publicly available witness interviews, reports, and other source material. The goal is to provide a clear visual representation of the reported events. While every effort has been made to faithfully depict the general timeline, locations, and witness testimony, some details have been normalized where accounts differ or evolved over time. Distances, sizes, timings, and aircraft positions are illustrative and are not intended to be perfectly to scale. If you believe I've overlooked important evidence or misrepresented any aspect of the incident, I welcome discussion below.
