Long story short,

I've recently noticed some unusual lights and oddly shaped objects in the evening sky. I've managed to capture a few iPhone videos of them and have shared these in a post (link below). A commenter suggested that I get an inexpensive zoom camera, so I bought a Sony RX99 pocket zoom.

Earlier this evening, around 9:00 PM EST. I was chilling w my GF in the backyard, We noticed a bright, glowing orb almost directly above us.

I managed to take some RAW photos and a 2-minute 4K video using the new pocket zoom. It was hard to tell the object's structure. However, after lowering the exp by a few stops in LR and Final Cut, I was able to see some kinda of... glowing orb enclosing a cylinder? lol idk

The interesting part is, when I began recording the object, it was emitting a pulsing green glow, around 00:28, it started flashing purple before disappearing behind some clouds. I was able to refocus and capture a few seconds of the object shooting straight up into the sky, piercing through the clouds. (01:00 - 01:12)

Now moving to the 'woo' part... this have been happening above my home almost EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past week or so. Simplar light appeared around the same time, between 8:30 PM - 9:00 PM ish. (see my last post)

I've pondered over this quite a bit, but the sightling I had recently just feels too odd to be random. Somehow, I was able to observe the object(s) when I take my evening break to gaze at the sky each day. Considering I work from home, I really only spend a few minutes in the yard after work. Yet, somehow, I was able to observe the object at SOME point during my break.

The object's behavior remains somewhat consistent - it's visible for about a minute or two from the time I first notice it, either hovering or drifting slightly, before quickly zipping away.
