I know everyone here is well aware that mainstream media coverage has been spotty at best, but at least NYT and others are willing to put up opinion pieces, podcasts, etc. It's just remarkable that WaPo won't touch it. As Leslie Kean said of mainstream media generally, "They're making a point of not covering the story."

I obviously don't know what's actually going on but it's easy to imagine that the paper of record for DC is mired in pretty complex political considerations.
