Multiple Witnesses Saw Strange Green Lights Over Kolkata Tonight
My friends and I witnessed something unusual over Kolkata tonight and managed to capture some shots.
There appeared to be 7–8 green lights at various points during the sighting. They were extremely high in the sky and initially appeared as a vertical chain of lights. Over the next few minutes, the formation changed multiple times.
At one point, three lights formed a distinct triangle. Later, the objects appeared to reorganize into two separate triangular formations of three lights each. The photos are attached and show some of these formation changes.
All of the lights appeared green, although one of them briefly flashed red at one point.
The objects seemed to hover while maintaining formation. There was no audible sound from our location.
The strangest part happened at the end of the sighting. After remaining visible for several minutes, the lights accelerated away toward the horizon and disappeared from view. I was not recording at that point, didn’t expect them to leave suddenly.
An interesting detail is that we later came across reports of a very similar group of green lights being observed near Mumbai roughly 15 minutes before our sighting. We have no idea whether the two events are related, but the timing and description seemed worth mentioning.
Not claiming extraterrestrials or making any conclusions. Just sharing exactly what multiple witnesses observed. Have some videos as well not able to upload them.
