Description

Since I saw the post "NASA looking for something" in a close area earlier today, I thought why not just post it here.
It’s probably nothing, which is why I didn’t post initially.

Yesterday night, I was on a plane from SF to Sydney. Around 2am (SF time I think), I saw a bright light out the window. At first, I thought it was an island in the ocean. That’s why I only recorded for a few seconds, I went to check if there was an island nearby on the TV screen. There was none. Here’s a picture of the screen I took 5 min after seeing the light (the one I took before didn’t have altitude), so if anyone knows of any island in this area?
Location: need to set up an Imgur account, doing it rn

Then I thought this could be a cruise ship, but wouldn’t it appear way smaller or unobservable from 31,500 feet up in the air? And why so bright?
I’m almost entirely sure it was not another airplane as it was not moving and it was more circular.

Sorry for the bad quality and shortness of the video, it’s very cliché which is why I was reluctant to posting it.

If anyone has any likely explanation, I’ll delete the post. I just thought some aficionados may be interested in it.
