Description

Monday the 24th of October 2022 23:20.

Weather was poor, very low visibility. Casually looked out of the window to notice a very bright 'star'. I like to do night photography on occasion and so I grabbed my Canon Powershot SX420. The camera isn't the absolute best but it's zoom is incredible (well, its pretty great for that sort of budget but you can get way better of course). So I keep my hands steady and start to zoom-in on this object. The camera had the object in its sight, but it was just a red blob. I press the shutter, to which the camera auto-focused and captured whatever the hell this is. I took 2 images, both of which portray a red string of lights in the same angle, tilted. I looked at the images after taking the shots, looked up and it had vanished. I've never really seen an image quite like that after photographing a star. Was wondering if I could get any answers here.
