Next encounter is in 1984, when Bulgarian helicopter pilots Georgi Dimitrov and Nikolay Belev spotted a UFO over the Rhodopes. Years later, the pilots revealed details of this UFO encounter to Bulgarian journalists. But when he has to intercept it, the silver object disappeared. Then the trapezoidal object was spotted over the Balkan Mountains, one hundred and seventy kilometers from the first place. Enemy balloons, which look like the object, can not cover the distance in 6 minutes. The radars subsequently detected the site over Kazanlak and finally over Byala.
