I stumbled on articles about multiple cases in Kuwait (middle east) during the 70s and 80s

First case in the 70s in place called Umm Al Aish ( أم العيش ) :

note : photo in the news paper isn't of the incident but an archived one from japan but the article is about the incident .

Umm Al Aish had the largest oil station and nearby it was a radar grid , the station was working fine then suddenly one day it stopped .... a team of engineers rushed to the place leading by an American engineer ... but before they arrive their car stopped working and they had to continue walking , as soon as they arrived to the station they found a cylindrical object hovering in spiral movement around itself ... this continued for five minutes then start shaking (without sound) and shoot off to the sky .... during this time they tried to call police but the couldn't because communications devices also seemed to malfunction like their car .... as soon as the object left communications restored and they called police ...... police report said the radar station didn't pickup anything but the station door lock was broken .

Second case in 1986 during the Iranian-Iraqi war :

In "Al Ahmady" near the southern border a radar station picked up an object moving faster than any plane 15 kilometer from the country border , the military couldn't identify the object so they immediately ordered a launch of two (9k33 OSA) missiles ... according to witness the object react defensively beaming a "triangle shape of light" at the missiles destroying them mid air , the object then hovered for two minutes then shoot off to the east ... official border patrol confirmed eyewitness testimony later .
