Description

I took this video while we were flying from Salt Lake City to Dallas in January 2021. I was looking out of the left side of the plane, so I was facing Northeast. At first, all I could see with my eyes was a dark blob over the clouds. I took out my tablet and started recording while zooming in. It appears to be a smoke cloud, but its has a peculiar shape to it, as if there are mulitple smoke clouds.

The video cuts off after about 20 seconds, because that was right at the time the flight attendent was coming around with drinks, and I stopped taking video to help my little girl get her drink situated. In the couple of minutes that passed while getting drinks, the smoke object was gone. I have no idea what it was.

I've looked at the video many times since then, and just kind of blew it off, but finally decided to post it here, hoping someone might be able to recognize what it is. Maybe some of my fellow UFOers that know how to track filghts might be able to see if there was anything in the air at that time.

The event was on January 3rd, 2021, around 4:00 PM Mountain time.
EDIT: flight info was Southwest WN 6744.

So, was it just smoke, maybe from another plane, or could it be something more mysterious?
