Picture of plane for reference (https://i.imgur.com/7cHGtpg.jpg)

Time & Place: August 4th, 11:14 pm (EST)/ August 5th, 3:14 am (UTC) - Toronto, CanadaDuration: around 5 minutesHeading: came from SW, heading NE then appeared to change direction straight to the East.

I'm trembling, guys. I'm going to explain the sighting in detail but I just gotta get my thoughts together. It was my wife and me that saw it.

OK, so I live in an apartment on the 19th floor with clear views to the west of the city, almost to the horizon. Clear night sky, almost no clouds. Here's a picture of the view from my balcony: Imgur Link (https://i.imgur.com/ASfcqYn.jpg)

Context:

I've lived here for 7 months and every night we have grown accustomed to spotting planes landing on Pearson and others on Billy Bishop. I know how they look and their approach patterns. I'm a fan of airplanes, so there's that. And there are also helicopters around because of the hospitals in this part of the city. They're always around and always super loud. In fact, all planes around this area do make a lot of noise, and in the video, you're going to hear that there was no sound at all.

But this thing came from the southwest. I've spotted it from the moment it lit up because I'm always looking out the window for planes, and it came from the horizon. I was particularly interested because of the speed of this object and its direction. It was slow, not anything like I've seen before, and it didn't follow any approach pattern to any of our airports.

Just for the record, I've also filmed planes using the same camera from my balcony at night. I can upload the videos for reference. This didn't look like anything I've captured.

Anyways, this thing was as triangle shape as you can get. Clear to the eyes. Constant light, not like strobes like you usually see on airplanes. My wife can also testify. She, in fact, recorded it with her cellphone, although it is just a dot on her video. I'm going to upload that one as well.

And no sound, no SOUND AT ALL! Dead silent, as you can also hear from the video.
