what: at first red glow and then a ball appeared

decscription of the ball object: at first red then changed the color to orange, when disappearing becoming white, optical size like 3 – 4 suns, speed cca 60 km per hour, altitude differed from 70 to 200 meters, a way of moving - hovering

direction: south-west, south

interesting details: the red glow was accompanied by gray and black rotating beams

duration in total: 8 – 10 minutes

witness: later became working as a aviation meteorologist in the Czechoslovakian army despite this fact he was never able to identify or explain scientifically what he saw

what happened:

The red glow was seen on the horizon distant 1,8 km, 3,5 km and 5,5 km and was changing its intensity and direction frequently, resembling the dawn and the fire, before the sighting of the ball object . Then out of nowhere tha ball object appeared running over the horizont and then split away from it and started flying towards the witness.

The color changed from red to orange and the ball reached place cca 70 metrs from a road and 100 meters from the river. It was a perfect shaped ball, no unevenness. The witness was curious wishing the ball to come even closer in his thoughts.

The ball changed its direction to more south getting near above the middle of a forest, witness saw it next 15 – 20 seconds and noticed almost invisible like a drawing thing on the surface, but couldn’t tell what the drawing was.

After the ball disappeared the witness noticed the red glow started to approach him. It was getting near quickly and soon everything around him was red like if he was looking through red colored glass. The looking through it was calming. He saw there was also yellow and smoky black color in this red glow. No change of temperature, atmosphere pressure or witness‘ healht condition noticed. Also no mist.

Then he saw black and gray beams rotating to the left side in the glow cca 5 – 6 meters ahead of him. The end of the beams looked like cca 25 cm wide paddles and they were opaque. Soon he realized he couldn’t see surrouding through the red glow and beams. The beams rotating to the opposite side appeared as well. The rotating was faster and faster.

Then only thing in his sight which remained were beams which were getting darker and darker and he got scared and chose to run away and hid behind the nearest ash tree bowing his head down and covering it with his hands. He heard faint hum. He decided to count to 100 before taking a look, but when he got to 77 he couldn’t resist and looked again.

He saw the ball flying above the village to the south slightly east, the ball was now very pale almost white and at a higher altitude. The second sighting of the ball lasted cca 90 seconds before the ball got lost from his view.

Note: the same object was seen near other villages, concretely – Rožďalovice and Neratovice.
