For the last week and a half, my 2 year old daughter has been having consistent nightmares. She is telling us that a fish with big eyes is visiting her.

Our neighbor dropped off some gifts that included a water color set and book. Our daughter drew this today, it was her first time drawing with water colors. Could be total coincidence and of course art is interpreted by the beholder, but looks a lot my experiences growing up as a kid and into early adulthood.

Has anyone with prior or current experiences had their children draw anything similar or have nightmares like this.

Personally, I think children have incredible imaginations and I think this is what that is. She has not been introduced to anything alien, spacecraft, etc. just a kid that loves the outdoors and art. I never wanted any of my children to have any experiences similar to mine, but I found this really intriguing.
