In regards to this post, https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1rjk5ms/reddit\_user\_umajesti… (https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1rjk5ms/reddit_user_umajesticj…) and the claims made in the linked Substack, there are some serious issues with the core premise of this "proof" of the MJ-12 files.

The author of that Substack states that the files used, the 345 pages of Operation Paperclip declassified as a FOIA request to the CIA were declassified in 2022, which obviously means, given they have the same identifying stamp as the MJ-12 files which were released in the 80s, that this is proof that the MJ-12 files are real.

They even go so far as to screen shot some pages from those documents and circle the released in 2022 and 834021 on the same page to really let you soak in how nuts discovery is!

There is only one big glaring issue with this idea and these documents. They were not declassified in 2022, they were declassified in Nov of 1985 as far as I can tell either via the FOIA requests made by Linda Hunt, or subsequent requests by third parties as a result of her research, who first publicized Operation Paperclip in her article "U.S Coverup of Nazi Scientists" in 1985 and then subsequently wrote the book *"*Secret Agenda: The United States Government, Nazi Scientists, and Project Paperclip, 1945 to 1990" which was released in 1991 with more documentation in regards to Operation Paperclip.

Let me do as the author of that Substack did, and take a screenshot of the very first page of those 345 CIA pages, and circle a couple things in red.

These documents were either re-requested and reviewed again in 2022, or first digitized in 2022, but the original documents were absolutely not declassified in 2022, these documents were originally declassified in Nov of 1985, and Linda was researching via FOIA requests these documents prior to her publication in 1985. The numbers 834021 in relation to classified CIA documents were declassified and available in the exact same time frame as the MJ-12 documents originally were published.

As the author of that Substack states, perhaps we need disclosure from dedicated civilian research.

I do have to question though how truly dedicated said research is when the LITERAL FIRST PAGE of the documents you are using to prove your hypothesis clearly shows that these were FOIA requests done at a contemporaneous time as the MJ-12 documents were released in the mid 80s and later digitized in 2022.
