Description
This is a video from a charming old fellow named Jim Lake, who records videos of the night sky from his home in Montana. His channel mainly features his engineering and workshop work, but he has some clips and breakdowns of anomalous objects in the night sky. This footage in particular features an anomalous object crossing the star Deneb, and it clearly appears brighter than it at its peak magnitude, as it pulses across the screen. Jim does an excellent job at cross referencing registered satellites and even teaches us how to find one nearby which doesn't cross Deneb at that time, proving that it is the only registered satellite in the area, and the object is indeed unregistered, unknown, or anomalous.
This clip is cool, and I think his channel has some great watches for anyone interested in this topic. I recommend watching his video on "Flashers, Loiterers, Fly-Bys, and Disappearing Stars.
