Description

Location: Western Australia near Bunbury.

Time: 12am.

Sometimes my friend and I will drive to the same dark location to look at stars. We went the other night when it was a full supermoon so it was super bright out. We were looking over a paddock towards a conservation forrest and kept seeing these lights come up from the treeline going up and left. They would fade in and then fade out. Some would go up and left, others just straight up. Some would light up quite high in the sky and others from the behind the trees. All of them were travelling leftwards. One of the first ones I saw was so bright and not moving I thought it was coming towards us and I honestly got so scared haha. I was able to capture a couple on film but many we saw my phone could not pick up. In a 6 minute video we caught about 4 bright ones on camera and saw about 30 faint ones with our eyes. These are the ones my camera could pick up. We checked on google maps at what was over that area and its just forrest, no roads, no properties. This has absolutely baffled us and ive never seen anything quite like this, so much so we went and bought some night vision binoculars to go out again tonight. I thought maybe a meteor shower but thats all I can think it could be. Post is only letting me post one video for some reason I will try to post the others in comments.
