Description

I came across the Apollo Archive at Arizona State University about five years ago.
Since then, I have been looking at some of the photos more closely. After finding various clearly recognizable structures over the years, I saw this object in a rather inconspicuous image.
Due to the exposure, there is usually not much to see in the photo, which is why the object is even more visible here. In addition, you can zoom in relatively far with good quality.
The photo is from the Apollo 17 mission.
