At night time on May 29, 2015, footage from cams at Baita Temple showed a bright white glowing orb. The object is seen slowly descending into the courtyard area and repeatedly changed shapes. It moved around as if playfully exploring the space. They say the object caused a dog on the premises to bark frantically. Because of this Monks reviewed the recording after the alarm went off and found no signs of anyone entering the temple physically but they did find this weird orb on film. The video quickly spread online and was widely reported by Chinese media and no concrete explanation for it.
