A small part of a recently published article in a German science magazine: 

*On its way from Turkey to England, the aircraft was flying over Bavaria at a cruising altitude of 10,363 meters when both the pilot and his co-pilot noticed a luminous object on the starboard side and were able to document it with a series of photos and a short video. It did not resemble “any type of aircraft [the pilots] had ever seen before.”*

*Enlarged details of the images show that the main body of the object is surrounded by other smaller lights that appear to change position.* 

*Throughout the sighting, the pilots took several photos and videos of the object, which also show a changing arrangement of smaller lights around a large main object that is not characteristic of a conventional aircraft.*
