Description

This is an airship called the LTA-20, a scale prototype version of the planned 60- and 140-foot models.

The balloon thing spins and produces thrust via the Magnus effect.

This looks unlike anything I’ve ever seen, even other crazy looking airships. This was planned to have applications in warfare, construction, and logging, among other things.

The design of this is so bizarre and out of this world that i have to ask - what in the alien intelligence?
