Description
At 2:30 a.m., a bright fireball came crashing through the roof of S&L Automotive, captured on security footage and witnessed by neighbors. The object left a cratered steel box, scattered debris, and no immediate explanation. Even more eerie-no object was recovered.
This isn’t an isolated event. Over the last few months, we’ve seen a steady increase in reports like this across New Jersey and the globe: strange lights, low-flying drones, objects moving erratically or entering restricted airspace. The FAA has mostly stayed quiet. And federal officials? Largely dismissive.
At Enigma, I’ve been helping lead a community-driven effort to document these anomalies as they happen, in real time, and across the country. We're building the largest publicly accessible dataset of aerial sightings—so moments like this one in Magnolia don’t just become footnotes or rumors. They become data points in a broader pattern.
