I was driving home and arrived in my neighborhood when I saw something hovering in the sky at fairly low altitude. I pulled over and decided to film what I could. I’m no drone expert but it seemed apparent this was a commercial grade, heavy duty drone of the human variety.

The point of this video is to demonstrate what you might see and hear at night if you’re actually dealing with a drone, and not an NHI device- hope this helps anyone out there differentiate between the two. It’s good to have a baseline for comparison, so I hope this doesn’t get pulled for being irrelevant.

***Side note, a pickup truck pulled past me about halfway through the video, but once the noise has passed you can clearly hear the hum of the drone.
