Description

I live in a low light area off the space coast. We see satellites and planes all night every night - we keep the lights other than one off so we can see better. We see lights that look like satellites do weird maneuvers sometimes, and honestly too low for satellites. We've seen them go under planes. I've wanted to catch one on camera for awhile but they aren't always this low and bright.

I turned the brightness all the way up on the video so you can see my trees, so you can tell where it's my shaky ass moving to track it. I have the original of course if wanted.

Last night around 9:30 I went out for a smoke and started my usual staring at the sky. I noticed a reddish "star" next to two other bright ones. Didn't look familiar but I didn't think much of it. Watched it and that area of the sky for 3-5 minutes, no movement at all. Then I thought "wouldn't it be crazy if those stars turned out to be a triangle, and started moving?"

The moment I thought that the one reddish star started moving, like it was coming straight for me, no sound and no blinking until it started getting further away. I've never seen one blink like that, easily would've thought it was a plane from a distance. After I got over the "oh shit" feeling I pulled out my camera.
