Location: Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Date of sighting: March 17, 2024.

Time of sighting: 8:40 pm.

Duration of sighting: Approximately 20-25 seconds.

Number of witnesses: Two witness.

Description of sighting: Two balls or cylinders of light were observed, initially appearing to be stacked on top of each other but upon closer inspection were seen to be side by side. The observer mistook them initially for a single object, possibly a balloon, but realized they were separate due to perspective. The objects were captured on video for the duration mentioned, until they disappeared from sight over the roof of the observer's house. Attempts to capture further footage five minutes later were unsuccessful, as the objects had already vanished. The observer used a small telescope attached to a cellphone to improve the vision of the objects. The objects were seen from the witness's perspective moving from right to left.
