Ok. I got it on video. The twinkle in the sky

So last night I see what people have been posting for months. It was in the sky blinking all colors. It was a small dot. It looked odd so I videoed it and zoomed in. It had the effect that I see with the other videos. Dot in the center and the light blaring in the video. But in person it was just a small dot blinking all colors. It didn’t have the glow like the video shows. Which I can imagine that’s what others see but don’t clarify.

What I can say is I have no clue what it was. And the video camera definitely exaggerated it but. YEA there was something there and I saw 2 times when I wasnt recording that it looked like it shot light out of it. I compared it to the SkyView app and it showed that it wasn’t a star, planet or constellation. It didn’t move. But just stayed blinking a bunch of colors.

Is there a cheap camera I can use to get better photos of outter space incase I see it again. I’m in Long Island New York and it was coming from east. I have seen a bunch of things out at night. I usually star gaze around midnight.
