Greetings, everyone. Persephone here.

I'm calling on everyone on Reddit with access to a mailbox, a pen, paper, stamps, and envelopes to participate in a massive letter-writing campaign on September 1st. As a mod of the GTAN Discord (Global Transparency Network), this issue matters to me greatly.

This is the first coordinated effort - but it should not be the last. As part of our efforts, we should target the US Congress, then in future efforts, mainstream media, foreign governments with the potential to release information, and individuals who do not have as much familiarity with this situation as we do.

Mass Letter Writing Campaign: Friday, September 1st. 2023

It is our objective to have more than 500 letters received by every politician, all postmarked September 1st, regardless of how long it takes to reach them. They’ll be coming back from vacation to a pile of letters from us if it works out right!

We’ve all been doing a good job trickling in our discontent with the slow progress of the disclosure movement to American elected officials. But we need to wow them - do something they cannot ignore.

There are so many here on this sub. If we each wrote letters to them, all at the same time, it wouldn’t just be one here and there - it would be a stack.

From a political standpoint, 50 letters about a topic is a decent issue. 1,000 is a landslide issue.

Our goal should be to target officials both by imploring them to do more and by letting those who have been working hard know we appreciate their efforts.

In addition, I recommend that we stick to the facts, ma'am. Don't get carried away with aliens, UFOs, or nonhuman biologics - focus on things the “ordinary” politicians care about such as national security and money. Even skeptics can appreciate that! I left suggestions below for potential persuasive angles for your letters to some of the individuals.

You can add as many people as you’d like to this list but I just ask you to try and get them postmarked on September 1st and out on that day so we make a point of solidarity!

Your state reps and senators - obvious, but keep writing them. Even if you’re unlucky enough to have officials in your district who are anti-disclosure, don’t be discouraged - Insist it’s an issue!

The White House - let Biden know yes, you’re aware he’s busy with election season so we don’t anticipate a response but we want him to know the American people and people around the world care about this topic and it’s a real issue, there is active subversion of the military-industrial complex in regards to misappropriation of funds without a reasonable explanation to taxpayers, the Pentagon and DOD may be acting unchecked in nefarious ways that are harming people, and the world deserves to know if we are not alone in the universe! Such knowledge does not deserve to be kept only by the few, and we can be the judge of what we can and cannot handle and nobody in government deserves to keep it from us. Urge him to vote yes on the NDAA and pass the UAP legislature.

Senator Kristin Gillibrand - Is she taking the stance of her fellows? Is she still pushing for this? Keep in mind she stands for and introduces bills for the betterment of people, so focus on the people aspect because that matters to her. The government needs to protect its citizens and not by keeping things in the dark!

Reps Burchett, Luna, and Moskowitz - let them know we appreciate all they are doing and not to give up VERY important as we all know how draining it can be. Encourage them to take time for themselves because some want to wear them down. Let them know we are supportive of this disclosure effort. Remind them of the field hearings and the Holman rule and they need to stick to it! You can be a little lighthearted and encouraging in these letters - while severe, we want to keep the motivation burning!

Why not just send emails?: I think a pile of 100+ letters showing up within a day or two of each other is pretty significant. Even from somewhere like California, it should only take a week to get there at most, so for days on end they will be getting a constant stream of letters about the UAP topic.

It’s rare for people to send physical letters. It will make a point.

If you have nice enough handwriting, consider handwriting it. This carries the weight that it’s a person not a machine writing to them.

That said, an inbox of 500 emails to look at will also be quite a lot.

TEMPLATE IDEAS

There are a ton of letter templates regarding this topic floating around on here and elsewhere so I won’t waste time presenting a hundred options.

I truly encourage you to write using YOUR OWN words, as form letters are easily recognized and discarded by staff. We want them to have to read them. Don’t be afraid to use Chat GPT to help formalize your wording, but don’t rely on it solely for the context of your letter or again, we will all sound the same.

Remember: make it personal. Why do YOU care about this topic? And make them care. Know your audience. Do they care about government spending usually? Focus on the money. Money talks.

I would address the “worry” brought up recently that more open hearings will erode trust in government by saying something like: transparency will only strengthen the relationship between the government and her people - we want answers, not closed doors and secret deals. This is the way of our enemies, not America. This isn’t the country we have fought and died for or pay taxes for. We deserve the truth.

For those who’d still prefer email

I get it I do - I just feel it’s not as impactful as a physical letter. If email is your only way of doing it, then please still do it on September 1st, but only as a last resort to the letter idea!

Lastly: for the negative sort who think writing letters is pointless: I assure you if you’ve ever been a secretary or staffer in an office and suddenly flooded with letters - it’s not a tiny thing. You remember something like that. It’ll be talked about.
