Description

Hi there. This is my first post on this subreddit, so I'll try to keep it concise and outline my purpose here very clearly.

I've been following the buzz around the two videos that purportedly depict a B777, which some people have suspected is MH370, vanishing after being flanked by multiple UAP. I have absolutely no accreditations or qualifications in any of the disciplines involved in figuring out if the videos are real or not; I'm simply a curious teenager. However, I'm fascinated by how the videos have held up to some seriously rigorous testing, and I wanted to add a piece of information that could possibly be connected to the larger picture since I haven't seen this put out anywhere else.

Please note: not only is this a complete shot in the dark, but it's also only important if we operate under the assumption that the aircraft depicted in the videos is indeed Malaysian Airlines Flight 370. If that can be disproven, than this whole idea should be tossed aside without delay. I am not trying to say the videos are real; we simply don't have enough information about either of them to conclusively say they're fake or real. It's not fair to write off this entire investigation as anti-skeptical or crazy, because first of all, we're in a slump period when it comes to actual governmental progress towards disclosure, and second of all the videos are holding up better than most debunks insofar as we've analyzed it.

Now to the information itself. It's a publicly known fact that after MH370 vanished off radar screens in the Gulf of Thailand, the Malaysian military continued to track the aircraft as it made a sudden bank towards the Malay Peninsula before turning once again past Penang Island and proceeding into the Indian Ocean. The radar data was presented in such a way that altitude information could be extracted, which showed a very odd pattern:

Credit to the amazing LEMMiNO for this visualisation. Note that he does not at any point lend personal credence to a connection between MH370's disappearance and UAP. I'm simply using this image as a visual aid. https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kd2KEHvK-q8 (https://preview.redd.it/ma2lal6n4ygb1.png?width=1919&format=png&auto=…)

The aircraft purportedly made rapid fluctuations in altitude, including climbs that exceeded its operating ceiling by thousands of feet, followed swiftly by rapid (and theoretically impossible) descents to near-ground level. This is not something a Boeing 777 is capable of doing. Because of that, the altitude data was disregarded as innacurate.

The altitude fluctuations were not limited to the ocean east of the Malay Peninsula, as the visualization above may suggest. In fact, right up until the airplane's disappearance in the Bay of Bengal, similar fluctuations in altitude can be observed:

A graph from the 2018 report on MH370 showing that the military radars tracked the aircraft continuing the aforementioned fluctuations. Most notably is the 53,000ft descent bewteen 18:00:59 and 18:01:59, which is impossible to do in a 777 without destroying the aircraft. The simplest possible answer to these oddities is as following: the radars used were simply too imprecise. I did a reasonable amount of digging trying to find a reasonable explanation as to *why* the radars would have displayed such innacurate data like this, and I couldn't find much beyond "the radars were not calibrated enough to allow for accurate altitude readings". If anyone here can provide more concrete evidence towards this idea, please do so, as to help discredit this post.

Until the suggestion above is carried out, however, I'm willing to entertain the following fact: this seemingly impossible pattern of ascent/descent is absolutely characteristic in UAP sightings. That's more than hearsay; we've all heard the credible and corroborated sightings, including the ones discussed at the hearing earlier this month, that show UAP are notable for their ability to defy inertia and atmospheric friction.

Now for the furthest stretch of this post: what if UAP were involved in MH370's disappearance (an idea already generally proposed in this subreddit), and were actively interfering with its flight patterns even as early as its disappearance from radars in the Gulf of Thailand? The video we see has been georeferenced to this area (https://i.imgur.com/6kRe7Cj.png) north of the Nicobar Islands, and it's clearly visible that the path the aircraft is taking is southeast - that's the opposite of the direction it's believed to have been heading around that area. Perhaps that lends more credence to the idea that the aircraft's movement patterns were so inconsistent, yet corroborated enough, such that UAP-borne physical interference can explain them to some degree.

As I've already asked, if anyone reading this can provide more evidence towards or against this hypothesis, please do so. Thank you.
