I have been racking my brains for weeks re-watching this video multiple times trying to work out what these objects are. So I thought I would ask reddit.

I was sitting on a sun bed next to a pool when I looked up and saw this white orb looking object floating right above me. I couldn't work out the height of it didn't seem too high up. So I started to record it.

When I got home I re-watched the video and noticed that there is a second object that fly's almost at Mach 10 speed in the same location as where the orb disappears. I did not see the second object at all with my naked eye. I originally thought the second object came directly from where the orb disappeared but it actually originates almost where the brickwork is from the building. it is really hard to make out on the video. I had to zoom in about 500% to see a faint shadow trying to find the origin point.

I have a suspicion that the second object is a dragonfly. Which apparently are the fastest insects. But it just doesn't look at all like that on the video. Almost looks metallic in some frames, and morphs and changes shape. It almost looks like a bullet or tic tac in some frames.

There are dragonfly's near that pool as they often hover close to the water. So it could well be that But it was just the odd timing of both objects that was weird and how the first orb object just vanishes at the exact time.

I am aware that both of these things could just be insects but it was just a odd capture I thought was worth a discussion on WTF I saw.

I have seen alot of weird orbs and sightings here in Chiang Mai. It definitely seems like a hotspot. I will continue to try and film!
