**Location: Umatilla, OR, US

**Date of sighting: July 10th, 2023

**Time of sighting: ~1900, then again at 1918 and 1921

**Duration of sighting: About 30-45 seconds each time it came into view.

**Number of witnesses: 2 adults, 1 child(child couldn't see it)

**Before you read my story, please note I tried posting my story a couple weeks ago, but I uploaded the first video with horrible quality on accident, so peeps on here dismissed it which I understand. I also proofread my story and added a few more details. This time I will be posting with the second video.

**Descripton of sighting: Was at the park with one other adult and a child, when I spotted a small bright white dot above the clouds behind him. I brought it to his attention. He thought it was a drone. I thought so too but it slowly faded out of sight. Depth perception can be tricky, especially when looking almost towards the sun, but it looked far away. It disappeared from the sky nowhere to be seen.

It came back about 5-10 minutes later for about 30 seconds, then faded away, not moving at all either of the times. That whole time we were looking almost towards the sun.

We quickly realized we needed to grab our phones from the car and the child remembered I had my binoculars in the car, but of course it didn't come back. We waited about 15 minutes before leaving. The child left with the other adult, and I left by myself. I didn't want to give up so I pulled over and found a spot that shaded the sun from me so I could see towards the same spot near that big cloud.

A few minutes later I saw it and had my phone ready. In the first video at 1918(18 sec) I zoomed in before the camera could focus and the quality of the video ended up being shit, so you can only see it in the first 5 seconds. It disappeared and I stopped recording.

At 1921 it appeared again in a significantly lower area near the cloud so I started recording again(36 sec, this is the video posted in the main post). In the recording at the last second, you can see it disappear, then I stop recording.

It did appear again, and instead of recording I thought it was important to see in with the binoculars. (I failed to explain how I saw it in the binoculars when I originally made this post.) It was a VERY blurry white circle, but I could clearly see the clouds in the binoculars. The object was comparatively and easily more blurry. Moving focus in both directions did nothing. So maybe it was farther away than the clouds? But the clouds in my video look so far away so idk.

At that time in my head I ruled out a balloon because they are spherical and I figured that would mean a constant reflection, but I know nothing, so please educate me.

This made me think it could be a reflection off a rotating drone, like the camera. But how did it disappear completely which you can see clearly right before I stop the second video)?

Also if it were a drone, why did it look so blurry? Those clouds were really far away and I could see them with detail in the binoculars, but the object was a very blurry circle, implying that if it were a drone, AND farther away from the clouds, there is no way I would have seen something that tiny.

Please note the difference in height between the videos, videos were taken 3 minutes apart.

I have no educated opinion on what this might be, but maybe someone else might easily know!
