Description

So on may 16 2023, last Tuesday. At around 2:45 p.m. central time. Me and a coworker saw this in the sky about 200 feet up. Right off the county highway in north east Iowa. It was perfectly still, just hovering. Not moving at all even with the wind which was quite brisk. Probably 10-15 mph wind. It looked to be around 2-3 feet long. Very glossy black the sun casted a glare off the top of it. There was no one or other vehicles around by it. I really regret not stopping and getting a video of it. What could it be and maybe other sightings around the U.S. ?
