Description

January 2014 (I believe) around 6:30pm in Vermont (USA).

I heard what sounded like giant acetylene torch firing and I looked to my west and saw this craft rising over trees about 300 meters (1,000ft) away.
It was huge, about 20-25 meters (65-70ft). It got around 30 meters (100ft) off the ground and just zipped off south down interstate 91 and at a speed that I can’t even put into words.
Only my close close friends know, because I lived in a village and no one has mentioned anything and there was no news about it so I just wrote it off and compartmentalized it.
Well obviously things are heating up and I have been a long time lurker and casual commenter. So I decided to share.
The whole encounter lasted 30 seconds if that. I never thought to grab my phone because I only remember being in absolute shock and awe at what I was looking at.

On a side note I was watching an episode of ufo files and Bill was interviewing a man in Connecticut and he described the same thing I saw and the same sound as I heard. I can’t remember the episode but that’s just a little tidbit.
