On 9/7/22, My fiance left to go pick up her daughter from her school about a mile up the road after an all day cross country meet that was like 2.5 - 3 hrs away from us it gets all the kids back to the school very very late at around 1:00 - 1:30 in the morning.

About 5 mins after my fiance left, I decided to let the dogs out for the last time that night and start getting ready for bed. As I came out our back door and turned towards our yard - that's when I noticed it. We live in a town of about 450 people So needless to say there isn't much going on around that time of night.

After I noticed it, I remember how slow it was going and initially it was heading eastbound and I remember thinking "This is way too slow for any type of plane" - that's when it kind of dawned on me what I was looking at and I pulled my phone out and started recording. I think I just caught the tail end of it coming to a stop and it started heading back the way it came - midair. This thing had zero sound and the video does not do it justice on how bright that light was. The craziest thing is that I tried to zoom in on it and my phone wouldn't let me. At that time last year I had the newest Samsung Android Galaxy s22 ultra. I've shot many videos and was able to zoom in. Despite my best efforts - my phone simply wouldn't let me. As bright as that light was there was no way it could have been a drone because that would have to be a really big drone that of which I would have been able to hear the propellers. I have a much smaller drone and I flew it as far away from me as I could get, which at that point it looks like a smaller black dot and I can still hear the propellers on it.

When I say this video left me shook - I mean I immediately put the dogs up and jump to my car and drove to the school for my fiance was at waiting for her daughter. I am 44 years old and I can tell you that I do not scare easy. I spent almost 20 years as a professional Firefighter and even at times when I thought I might have bought the farm if you know what I mean and I can tell you this - all those times combined didn't shake me a quarter of what seeing this did. Still getting me chills when I watch the video.
