Description

Context: Came home this evening and noticed a bright white beam which I initially thought was a shooting star. The bright “beam” stayed stationary for a moment then began rotating on its axis and changing color while staying stationary (imagine a rolling ball). Suddenly it would turn into the “beam” again and sort of totter back and forth.
I took multiple videos (until my phone ran out of battery) the beam eventually disappeared, then reappeared deeper in the atmosphere but still incredibly bright (I have video of this as well)
