Dana Point, CA, around 8 pm. There’s been a bit of monsoon floating around and though most of the sky was clear, it started raining, so we went outside to cover the furniture. To the north, we saw what first looked like a constellation, but it was a group of bright lights moving west to east. There was no sound and aviation trackers showed no craft. The lights moved rapidly and also laterally. The most movement comes near the end, when they’re close to the horizon.

Military traffic is common around here, but these didn’t move like planes, helis, or satellites. Camera is pointing due east. Thoughts?
