Hello, r/UFOs. Just another random Redditor here wanting to share how he spends his free time! Sorry if my layout or formatting isn't ideal. This is my first ever Reddit post.

This particular video of a cube-shaped UFO demonstrates odd behavior that I can't explain or if it suggests video manipulation or otherwise. I have the YouTube video linked and made my own recording of it where I continue to replay the parts I see as odd. Although, it seems OBS lost a bit of definition in the process and can be hard to make out what I'm trying to focus on. I would recommend watching the video on youtube to get a better picture of what I'm seeing.

The main motivation for making this post is what I call leapfrogging (seen at 0:41 on YouTube). I've noticed it in other UFO videos on this sub and tried pointing it out before, but not many people saw or cared. And I haven't seen anyone else mention or explain it before.

In total there are 3 weird behaviors I see in the video.

1. *Object appears and doesn't move*

2. *It leapfrogs or splits in two*

3. *Top of object disappears*

Below are the timestamps of my recording (YouTube timestamps in parenthesis)

0:33 (0:39) - The moment the object appears and doesn't move for just a few frames. Also looks like it sort of teleports forward and then continues on smoothly.

1:22 (0:41) - Object appears to *leapfrog* or *split in two*. To me, it looks as if it jumps ahead and then reverts back to its original position before continuing its trajectory. Much easier to see from the YouTube video itself.

2:09 - I try to pause on the exact frame the leapfrogging happens

3:00 (0:44) - Top of object quickly disappears and reappears even though there are no clouds visible passing in front of it. Again, much easier to see from the YouTube video itself.

3:30 and on - Me just playing around not really seeing anything.

Can anyone explain or want to elaborate on these? Is the leapfrogging just some sort of illusion due to poor equipment or poor visual field? Obvious marker for video manipulation? The operating mechanics of the UFO distorting time/space or something? Or maybe I'm dumb and just reiterating what's already been acknowledged?
