Description

I was 10 years old and Dad and I were leaving Paul's Landing (bait and boat rental) one summer night on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota. The car was pointed at the house across the road, ready to turn right. Dad said "look". We watched it for about 10 seconds and then, whoosh, it flew away from us in a fraction of a second. Never saw it higher than tree top level. It was as big as the house and right over it! Just across the road. The next day I drew a picture of it and after 55 years hardly a week goes by I don't think of it. I've saved that picture for years but now can't find it. I recreated my picture in PS and went to the spot to take a picture of the house. The stars were thick and it was a perfect summer night. Splain that.
