One night about 2 years ago, my fiance and I were walking our dog and decided to go through a nearby park. The sky was completely clear and the stars were bright and beautiful. I caught sight of this crystalline-looking thing hanging in the sky and pointed it out to my finance, and we spent about 20 seconds looking at it in silence. It was a quiet night, and we couldn't hear any obvious noise to explain what we were seeing. Then over about 5 or so seconds, it rose further into the sky, then disappeared all at once.

If it was in space, it was HUGE. Legit fucking massive. It was much taller than it was wide, with a shape that resembled a natural crystal. Like, long straight edges ending in jagged looking formations. In colour it matched the night sky, like black glass, but we could see the outline of its exterior shape, especially when it started moving. And it seemed to either reflect the light of many stars, or it had internal lights that shimmered ever so slightly.

I'll never forget it, and to this day I haven't found a good explanation for it. Has anyone else seen anything like this??
