Description

People want/need to see a UFO for themselves. This is especially true for myself, as I was a hardcore skeptic (scoffer) until I saw one for myself. We already have 80+ years of witness testimony and images so we don't require anymore.

This idea involves using mobile devices which are very common these days, but rather than taking photos, it would report the witnesses location and notify others nearby to help verify the sighting.

Just open the app and contact others nearby to step outside and help verify a UFO sighting.

1. Send location to server
2. Piggyback off free IM apps like Skype, Viber, Hangouts, KIK, Messenger and Twitter to send messages to others on a personal friends list (optional). This means others don't require the app installed to receive alerts.
3. GPS co-ordinates are scrambled on your own device before being sent (can be increased or decreased by user), so the control center doesn't know your exact location to meet privacy requirements. Just like other IM apps, no phone details are sent.
4. One UFO sighting can now be corroborated by others. Members can contribute by responding to alerts and filming the sky in their area to help verify or refute.

The program would ideally have a feature similar to CURTIN University's "Fireballs in the Sky" app.., which can calculate the objects trajectory. It would help alert other members along the expected path if moving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJgZ3k97jK (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJgZ3k97jKs)

The app will be completely free and open source with no owner or crowdfunding attempts. If you are a programmer and would like to contribute.., the code is open source and available for review and modification on GitHub -https://github.com/UAP-APPS
