Description
The analysis of a metallic fragment discovered in 1973 near Aurora was tested in an aerospace laboratory known for analyzing aircraft and spacecraft materials. The findings revealed that the metal was 95% pure aluminum with only 5% iron, a highly unusual composition, as aluminum typically doesn't mix with iron in such proportions.
Independent verification by Anastas Laboratories in Houston confirmed the results. Structural analysis showed signs of air-cooling after being molten in the air, supporting a theory that it originated from an explosion and solidified on the ground.
The material’s composition and structure indicated it could not have been created in 1897 as it required advanced, ultra-pure laboratory refining techniques.
