Late last night, I happened to glance up at the sky and saw what appeared to be two stars near each other, but one star was moving south by southwest. It wasn’t very bright or impressive, but I had the clear impression of it being very, very high, far above normal airplane height. I checked flight trackers and the space station location, and neither airplanes nor satellites were close by at 343 am Pacific time. The nearest satellite was flying over Colorado, and I imagine I wouldn’t be able to see that, would I? Any ideas? I realize this is a very unimpressive video, but so was the sighting. Just a small light moving steadily. I assumed satellite, but one can't see a satellite flying over Colorado when they are observing in California, 8 miles away from the Pacific Ocean, can they?
