I took this video in the Mojave Desert on 01/09/25 around 10 pm. I apologize for the terrible video quality, I have an iPhone 13 it just takes shitty footage at night— it’s the best I could do in the moment.

To the naked eye it was a glowing orange orb, perfectly circular, probably 100 feet away from us and around 50-60 feet in the air. It wasn’t flickering, just a steady orange light.

Despite what was being said in the video, we disagreed as to whether or not it was dimming or moving away from us. My friend who was in front of me said it took a right turn and started moving away from us. Any thoughts on what this could’ve been?
