Camp Pendleton Marine's crash-site claim (1967) — A Marine says he flew to a crash retrieval site in the desert in 1967.

"RT" is one of Leonard Stringfield's anonymous informants. He said he was a Marine who, in July 1967, flew from Camp Pendleton in Southern California to a crash-retrieval site in the desert, where a damaged craft was being recovered by military personnel.

The account appears in Stringfield's Status Report III (1982) and was republished by Linda Moulton Howe in 2005. As with most of Stringfield's sources, the witness isn't named, the location is vague and no records support the story. It's included in the testimony as part of the long list of crash-retrieval allegations that remain unverified.
