Coulthart's sources go quiet (2021) — Coulthart says his sources have gone quiet amid an intense security effort.
In December 2021, journalist Ross Coulthart said that sources who had helped with his book had gone quiet, and described a clandestine group controlling the UAP issue with an intense security effort.
He didn't name the sources or the group. Such claims are common in UFO journalism, where sources often retreat after initial contact, sometimes for reasons that can't be determined.
The claim can't be checked. In 2023, Congress passed provisions protecting UAP whistleblowers from retaliation, partly in response to concerns like this.
